Red Hat, which has traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market since it went public in August 1999, will move to the New York Stock Exchange next month. The move will take Red Hat from the Nasdaq, a market featuring volatile, high-growth startups, to a more staid exchange that is home to many of the nation’s blue-blood blue chips.
